VAMPIRES! Yes, vampires. Or something. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's first instalment of DLC is now officially dated. Eager gamers who need a reason to return to Skyrim (and no doubt lose hundreds more hours of their lives) can mark their calendars for June 26. Why? Because that's when it'll be released.

What does that clash with? The release of Mass Effect 3's Extended Ending of course! But let's face it, Dawnguard is going to actually please fans whilst the Extended Ending is probably going to kick up another controversial storm of complaints when it fails to deliver much of an improvement over the original ending.

The first two DLC packs for Skyrim have 30 day exclusivity with Xbox 360 so those who are playing on PC and PlayStation may have to settle for the Extended Ending... at least its free?
